This was a photoshop class, experimenting with mark making, manipulation and colour. I used mark making from my sketchbook and scanned in some things i have been working on for my culture project. So far out of all the ''tools'' available to us, photoshop has opened up a new path for me as i have never really used it before. I am so pleased with my final outcomes but i could definetley carry on experimenting and developing them further in to new creations. I did have a look at what the other students had come up with and i definetley see a difference in my thought process. In my opinion, my style is very different and very vibrent compared to others. At the moment i think this is a good thing as it makes me unique. :)

tipping point - stickiness factor
The tipping point was not what i expected it would be. First of all i am a design student and before reading the book i had no idea about other issues and factors within the design process. The tipping point made me realise that design is not just about desinging images and patterns etc, theres alot more problem solving than that. Factors with in the chapter 'The Stickiness Factor' shows how people came together to design a television show that was educational for ypung children, especially directed at those with a low- income household. Seseame Street was then created along with its spin off show years later called Blues Clues. I enjoyed the book alot more than i thought i would, i have learned alot of valuable facts and taken in to account important issues regarding the design process. Overall very interesting and stimulating.
